The bodies of two young Kenyans were on Saturday discovered at Kiambu and Nairobi counties.
In Kiambu, residents discovered the naked body of a young man by the roadside at Kawaida near Banana and called for authorities.
The said body was found wrapped in a shawl, with his clothes placed a few metres away from his naked body.
According to human rights group Vocal Africa Executive Director Hussein Khalid, the family of the deceased positively identified him as John Muchiri Muthoni, aged 27.
Khalid further narrated that the family lost contact with Muchiri after he disappeared less than 24 hours ago on Friday evening, January 3, at around 3pm.
According to The activist, the family received the devastating news of their kin’s discovery after his girlfriend told them they had received a call from unknown persons telling him to go get the body of her lover.
