School Principals in Kisii County Face Mass Transfers Ahead of Reopening[ FULL LIST]
In a letter signed by Kipkurui Kirui on behalf of the Director, clear instructions were given to Sub-County Directors to oversee handovers in Nyamache, Kenyenya, Kisii Central, and Masaba North Sub-counties.
The transfer process is continuing in Kisii South, Etago, and Sameta Sub-counties. In Nyamache Sub-county, several schools are undergoing leadership changes, including Ekeonga, Nyabite, Ebiosi, and Usena Mission secondary schools.
Nyisia and Ibeno Secondary Schools in Kisii Central Sub-county will also be receiving new Principals.
In Masaba South, Riabigutu and Geteri PAG Secondary Schools will have themselves a new Principals.
Leadership changes will further be witnessed at Genga DOK, St. Raphael Nyangena and St. Andrews Mogumo secondary schools.
In Gucha South, Tabaka Township and Nyamonaria secondary schools will receive new Principals, along with Eramba, Nyakeyo, and Nyabworoba secondary schools in Marani Sub-county.
Kebabe SDA Secondary, whose students were allegedly involved in the controversial KCSE examinations last year, will have their principal transferred.
Notably, in Etago Sub-county, Nyatwoni, Maroo Esinde, and Nyacheyo secondary schools alongside Nyaguku Secondary in Sameta will usher in new leadership.
The Director’s letter cited that these transfers are a routine administrative procedure. The Principals are expected to report to their new stations promptly.
