Kenya Defence Forces (KDF) officer has been killed in Mombasa for threatening a boda boda rider with a gun after allegedly failing to pay for his ride.
Reportedly, the chaos started after boda boda rider Antony Otieno asked for his pay after transporting the deceased from Likoni Primary Vyemani Grounds on Friday.
In a turn of events, the deceased opened a small bag, pulled out an AK47 rifle and fired into the air in a bid to scare the rider.
The rider managed to disarm the man while attempting to escape, this is when angry residents who witnessed the incident then pounced on the man and killed him.
The body of the deceased has since been moved to Coast General Mortuary, pending
