On Sunday, Ruto attended a church service in Dagoretti North, where some of the legislators took to the pulpit to reprimand the President’s critics.
Dagoretti North Member of Parliament Beatrice Elachi castigated those ‘disrespecting the Head of State’, even insulting him in churches.
Elachi took the chance to rebuke Ruto’s critics, urging them to leave Kenya if they are dissatisfied with his leadership.
Her sentiments have ignited a debate on the socials, with Kenyans strongly condemning her words.
