A total of 23 students at Lugulu Girls High School have received Ys in their results.
KNEC released the Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) results of the school yesterday, after reports that the results had been withheld.
According to a report shared by the school, out of the 676 students who sat for the KCSE exams from the institution in 2024, 13 of them managed to score A, while 93 students scored A- and 191 scored B+.
The circular by the school recorded a 99.41 per cent transition, with only four students scoring below the university entry C+ mark.
On Saturday, January 18, school students flooded the streets to celebrate the results after a week of uncertainty.
Speaking during the celebrations, the school principal, Dinnah Cheruiyot, lauded the students for their efforts, congratulating them for the good job done.
However, reported have emerged 23 of them are yet to get their results. A source privy to the information revealed that the 23 students took music.
According to the Kenya National Examinations Council, a Y in KCSE results means one or more subjects are canceled.
