The head of has Ruto appointed George Wanga to be the non-executive chairperson of the Energy and Petroleum Regulatory Authority (EPRA) for a three years. Wanga is the husband of Homa Bay Governor Gladys Wanga.
His appointment saw the revocation of Jackson Boma Ojwang’s appointment in the same capacity.
Ruto also appointed Kadhua Jimmy Kahindi, as the new non-executive chairperson of the board at the Kenya Fishing Industries Corporation. Kahindi will serve for three years effective immediately.
Further, he appointed Timothy Bosire, as the non-executive chairperson of the Board of Directors of the National Transport and Safety Authority (NTSA) revoking the Appointment of Manoj Shah. Bosire will serve for three years
Additionally Ruto appointed Ahmed Kolosh Mohamed as the non-executive chairperson of the Board of Directors of the Kenya Maritime Authority for three years.
Ruto appointed Bernard William Chitunga as the Chancellor of the Co-operative University of Kenya. Chitunga will be at the helm of the university for a period of five years.
Additionally, Ruto picked Mohamed Ibrahim Elmi as the non-executive chairperson of the National Livestock Development and Promotion Service for three years.
