National Assembly Speaker Moses Wetangula has cautioned Kenyans who have been speculating on the health state of Malava MP Malulu Injendi who was admitted to the Intensive Care Unit (ICU).
Speaking during the ongoing National Assembly retreat in Naivasha, Wetangula also warned lawmakers who are spreading misleading information on the health status of Malulu.
The Speaker clarified that the member of Parliament is currently recuperating in hospital while dismissing speculations from Kenyans.
Injendi has been hospitalised for the past two weeks, after experiencing health complications.
Speaking after visiting the lawmaker at a leading hospital in Nairobi on Thursday and holding a meeting with his family, Barasa disclosed, on the family’s behalf, that the lawmaker was in stable condition.
”I want to assure our people that we have seen Honourable Malulu Injendi and he is recovering. Doctors have tried their best and they are continuing,” Barasa stated.
”We are impressed by the treatment they have given him. I just want to ask you to help us pray for him. I just want to assure our people that our MP is doing much better,” he added.
