Former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua has revealed plans to make a grand announcement in the coming week after failing to deliver his promise of announcing his next political move.
This happens weeks after he pledged that he would reveal his plans at the end of January.
However, January 31 lapsed without any word from the former Deputy President , who was ousted out of office October 2024.
while attending a church service at Almighty God Ministries Church in Mathioya, Murang’a County, on Sunday, February 2, issued an apology for failing to keep his promise, explaining why his grand announcement was delayed.
“I had promised that by January 31, I would have garnered opinions and issued a political way forward. I want to apologise for the delays,” he said.
“I thought opinions would only come from the people of the mountain, other communities came forward and we could not lock them out.”
The former DP then promised to issue the anticipated report on Sunday, February 9, which he claims will be broadcast on popular radio stations.
He added, “On February 9, I will release an interim report on all radio stations to explain what everyone has told me and what they want done.”
