Elvis Murakana, the son of Dagoretti North Member of Parliament Beatrice Elachi, is dead.
Murakana passed away on Tuesday, March 25, after reportedly succumbing to injuries sustained during a grisly road accident.
The deceased had been admitted to the Intensive Care Unit and was receiving treatment at the time of death.
President William Ruto led fellow leaders in sending out a condolences message to Elachi.
“May God grant Mheshimiwa Beatrice Elachi and the family strength to bear with the loss of their dear son, Elvis Murakana. Be comforted by the word of the Lord in Psalm 147:3: “He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds,” Ruto stated.
The Orange Democratic Party wrote,” May God grant Hon. Beatrice Elachi (MP, Dagoretti North) and her family the fortitude and strength to overcome the pain of losing her son Elvis Murakana Namenya. It is such a huge loss to Mheshimiwa. As a party we stand with her during this difficult moment of mourning and grief,”
Busia county woman representative Catherine Omanyo wrote,”My heart goes out to Hon. Beatrice Elachi and her family following the tragic loss of their son. On behalf of my family and the people of Busia County, I extend my deepest condolences. Pole sana,”
Kileleshwa Member of County Assembly (MCA) Robert Alai wrote,”It is with a heavy heart that I extend my deepest condolences to you and your family on the tragic loss of your son, Elvis Murakana. As the MCA for Kileleshwa Ward, I join the people of Dagoretti North and beyond in mourning this profound loss. Losing a child is an unimaginable pain, and my thoughts are with you during this incredibly difficult time,”
