President Ruto’s remarks on MPs who will shut down the bills ignites mixed reactions.
President Ruto’s remarks on the finance bill 2023, where he stated that he is awaiting the see the members of parliament who will reject the finance bill 2023, has caused an mixed reactions.
He stated that the bill is being politicized by the opposition but deep down the leaders know the deal will do more good to all Kenyans.
Supporting his remarks was Nandi Senator, Samson Cherargei who stated,” Agreed with H.E Ruto Furthermore any kenya kwanza Mp who shall vote against the Finance bill 2023 should face full force of party disciplinary mechanisms ; You cannot play opposition politics in government Party Position is supreme in any discipline democracy.”
Narok Senator Ledama Olekina stated,”Members of parliament please remember that you are the ones who have the power of the purse! Do not be threatened by William Ruto and his MANENOS deputy Rigathi! You can start by denying them money! Ok ? Show them who the big boys are!”
Kinuthi pius stated,”President Ruto has suggested the vote on Finance Bill 2023 be an open, not a secret ballot. He want those MPs voting for and / or against the Finance Bill 2023 be obligated to give valid reasons to their electorates for they report to them ,not the president.”
Kimuzi opined,”Ruto should learn from Angola. They build houses for the Angolans but they couldn’t afford to buy because they were poor. He must be cautious with the finance bill. He must listen to the people.”
