Former president Uhuru Kenyatta, Raila & kalonzo have been allocated 645.09M in the Finance bill- Cherargei.
In a post through his official social media page, Nandi Senator Samson Cherargei revealed that the opposition are benefiting big from the Finance bill but won’t mention it to Kenyans.
He challenged former President Uhuru Kenyatta, Opposition leaders Raila Odinga and Wiper Party leader, Kalonzo Musyoka, to reject the money if they really are concerned about Kenyans like they say.
Cherargei stated,”Uhuru,Raila & kalonzo has been allocated 645.09M in this FY 2023/24 to spend that shall be funded through Finance Act 2023 through taxpayers money. This is what mainstream media shall NOT show you because they busy holding brief for Azimio-OKA.”
“If the trio feel pain for the ordinary kenyans then they should let go the amount But they are busy undermining the government a case of bitting the hand that feeds you,” he added
His sentiments have received mixed reactions from Netizens who read his post.
Anwar Saddat stated,”Senator, not sure I understand your use of “hand that feeds you” here. The Kenyan law says former public servants are entitled to benefits, which we have seen those in power give political interpretations, depending on their mood. If you don’t like it, change the law. Saddamhussein Opined,”They should be cut off if they keep frustrating government’s efforts to better Kenyans life’s. They shouldn’t enjoy such peaks from the same government they’re manipulating Kenyans to turn against. It’s either they support President William Ruto’s transformational agenda, offer reasonable alternatives or get cut off.”
