Ichungwah commissions new classrooms among other projects in Kikuyu; Through a statement, The members of parliament outlined some of the project he has completed and those that are underway, in his constituency.
The statement read;
Today we conducted an inspection of the ongoing construction of the Water supply – Ondiri Hiuhu road, which is being funded under the World Bank KUSP project. It was a productive visit as we observed the significant progress made in this infrastructure development initiative.
Our focus is also on ensuring the completion of tarmacking the Kikuyu-Hiūhu Road, extending it further to the Kairigos- Catholic -Asanteh sana loop. Additionally, we are determined to proceed with our plans to work on the Rumwe- SDA loop, expanding our efforts to improve the transportation network in the area.
Likewise, we commissioned new classrooms for Ndiguini Primary School. This brings the total number of classrooms to nine, a significant milestone in our commitment to enhancing the learning environment for our children. We are dedicated to continuing our support for the school through ongoing infrastructure development and other social initiatives.
The progress we have witnessed is a testament to the collaborative efforts of various stakeholders involved in these projects. We express our sincere gratitude to the World Bank for their support through the KUSP project, as well as to the local community and dedicated workers who have tirelessly contributed to the construction process.
We remain steadfast in our commitment to improving the lives of our citizens and fostering sustainable development in our region.
