Mr president Call these politicians back to order- Boni Khalwale.
In a statement, Kakamega County senator, Boni Khalwale called upon president Ruto to act and put an end to the protests.
He decried that innocent people had already lost their lives protesting and it is not okay to lose any more.
Khalwale stated,”Last time out, 6 Kenyans died. As they resume their chaos, destructions, protests, and anarchy, God forbid if they hope to sacrifice even one more Kenyan this time round.
Mr President Call these politicians back to order@WilliamsRuto, are we this helpless?”
The senate Majority whip, further downplayed Raila’s launch of Tumechoka platform, that will collect 15 million signatures to remove president Ruto from Governance.
Khalwale stated,”Babaman taking ODM followers, for fools. The president can be removed not thru signatures but
~by the Senate thru impeachment
~by a tribunal supported by National Assembly due to physical or mental incapacity.”
“Under COK2010, the collection of signatures can only be useful for the purposes of
1. Recalling an MP
2. Amending the constitution through popular initiative,” Khalwale outlined.
His remarks comes a day after president Ruto stated that the opposition leader is not going to sabotage the plans he has for the youth of Kenya.
President Ruto stated,”The plan we have of a million jobs for the young people of our country. In our housing program, in our digital program, in our agro processing, value addition and manufacturing program, You cannot sabotage. I will not allow you to sabotage that program because you have done this for so many years, this is not the year you are going to succeed.”
