Public service CS Kuria to publish performance of Senior Government officials Monthly.
Public Service Cabinet secretary, Moses Kuria has stated that his docket will monthly release, The performance of Government officials. Through this, they will be able poor or good service delivery.
He stated,”We will roll out a digital tool for tracking Performance Contracts, Projects Delivery & Execution and Individual staff performance for all the 90,000+ Public Servants while sharing the results with the public monthly.”
“We will implement a digital Ombudsman tool to be known as Pasha for the public to report all cases of denial of or poor service by national and county government institutions and avail all such incidents for public and media scrutiny,” he added.
Notably, On matters Service Delivery, Moses Kuria outlined that youths will have a place in the government, Citing that older people will be retiring.
He stated,”We will give every Kenyan an opportunity to work for the government irrespective of social, economic or political status through a digital, transparent and verifiable hiring tool that will distribute available opportunities across the country while seeking to enjoin the Private Sector and Overseas recruiters to use the same transparent platform for jobs and Internships under the mantra ‘Jobo Bila Connection’.
“We will maximise government efficiency and effectiveness by instituting government-wide Business Process Re-engineering, technology, people and organisation Review and putting in place a coordination framework that eliminates hand-offs, red tape and over-laps for effective service delivery,” he added.
On Huduma centres, Kuria stated that the number of services offered, will increase across the facilities Countrywide.
