Ruto appoints Ex Cherang’any MP Joshua Kutuny to State Job.
President William Ruto has appointed former Cheran’any member of parliament, Joseph Kutuny as a chairperson of the Kenya Copyright Board(Kecobo).
In a Gazette notice dated October 26, 2023, Kutuny will work as the board’s head for a period of three years.
The notice read,”In exercise of the powers conferred by section 6(1) (a) of the Copyright Act, 2001, I William Ruto appoint Joshua Kutuny to be the chairperson of the Kenya Copyright Board for a period of three years, with effect from October 27, 2023.”
This comes more than a year after Mr. Kutuny lost his Legislator bid to Patrick Simiyu . Kutuny served as Jubilee’s deputy Secretary General before the August 9 general elections.
