President Ruto responds to critics over his Frequent Foreign Trips.
Speaking at a church service in Eldoret, Uasin Gishu county, The head of state explained that his frequent foreign trips are for the benefit of Kenyans.
He reminded Kenyans that he is the head of state, who needs to advocate for their well being and this requires travelling outside the country.
He stated,”There are those who say I am flying out a lot, but they forget I’m the country’s chief ambassador and I have to look for job opportunities for Kenyans,”
The president cited that in his recent travel to Saudi Arabia, he managed to secure job opportunities for 350,000 Kenyans as Saudis want their services because they are the best.
The commander in chief further revealed that he will be going back to Riyadh in the next three weeks to unlock more investment and employment opportunities.
The president further said,”When I was recently in China, President Xi Jinping welcomed us and said China will help Kenya. He made my work there easier.”
This comes after the was an uproar ignited online, netizens stating that ever since President Ruto assumed office, he has made so many trips outside the country.
