CS Kuria to Launch ‘ Pasha’ a New Digital Tool
In the company of PS for Performance & Delivery Management Veronica Nduva, CS Kuria held a roundtable discussion with Development Partners.
He apprised them of the Public Service Performance and Delivery Transformation Rapid Results Initiative that is scheduled to roll out in November with an aim of sharing knowledge, best practice and seek partnership.
Among the Key points of discussion were Wajibika halls, Transforming NYS and Increasing Huduma Centres.
CS Kuria outlined;
Wajibika Town Hall Forums which will be held across the 47 counties in the country dubbed “Taking the Government to the People.” These forums will provide a platform for Kenyans to review government performance on various programmes and projects in their regions and establish a scorecard.
Transforming NYS into a mandatory leadership college while increasing the number of recruits to 100,000 by the year 2027.
Developing Pasha – a digital tool – for the public to provide feedback on the delivery of government services in their respective regions and providing monthly reports on the same for the public and the media to access.
Increasing Huduma Centres from 52 to 1000 to ensure that we provide government services at the grassroots level.
He highlighted that they had fruitful discussions and he looks forward to further engagements with Development Partners on this journey of making the Government not just efficient but effective to the great people of Kenya.
The Cabinet secretary further expressed that Performance and delivery remain a key focus in public service operations.
