Ruai OCS in jail after seeking bribe to release Four Prisoners.

Ruai OCS in Jail; In a statement from the Ethics and Anti- corruption commission, The OCS had demanded that he be given Ksh3,000 to release the four who had been arrested on grounds of drunk  and disorderly.

Part of the statement read,”Police officers from EACC Nairobi arrested the OCS on the allegation that he had received Ksh3,000 treated money in order to secure the release of four prisoners who were arrested on Friday, November 3,”

EACC noted that there is no short cut after an arrest, The four prisoners will face the rule of law that’s they will be present in court before a judge.

EACC stated, “They are in custody and awaiting to be arraigned in court on Monday, November 6,”

The OCS was also taken to the EACC headquarters, however, his arraignment date was not revealed.
