List of top 10 schools with the top performing students in KCPE 2023
List of top 10 schools; The first on the list is Riara Springs Academy in Nairobi, which produced the best student, Michael Warutere, who scored a total of 428 Marks.
Followed by Gilgil Hills Academy which is a mixed Primary School in Nairobi. It produced the second-best student nationally, Emmaculate Wacheke, who scored a total of 427 marks.
A tie was witnessed between Gilgil Hills Academy and St. Anne’s Girls Primary, which is now a know public Primary School in Kakamega County. Their best performing student Jacinta Bethany Khasungu also scored a total of 427 marks.
They were closely followed by Rae Kanyika Primary School in Kisumu County, who produced the third/ fourth best performing student, Felix Omondi who scored a total of 426 marks.
There was also a tie between Rae Kanyika primary school and Light house Academy in Nairobi, where their top performing student also scored 426 Marks.
Next is Ndima Kanini Academy. Their top performing student, Debra Aluel, scored a whipping 425 marks, emerging among the top candidates.
The above were closely followed by Pen-Elite Primary, where their top candidate Muchoki Rosemary Ndula got a total of 424 marks.
Moi Educational Centre tied with pen- elite primary schools. Their top candidate, Rotich Jeremy Kipng’eno, also scored 424 Marks.
Next in Line is St. Bakhita School Sabaki, where their top student, George Kipkoech Mutai, scored a total of 423 marks.
Seven candidates from the following schools Imperial Primary School, St Andrew Kaggwa Boys, St Anselm Mururi Boarding School and Gilgil Hills Academy tied with a total score of 423 marks.
The 2023 KCPE marked the end of an era under the 8-4-4 system.
