Kenya power and lighting company, KPLC issues a statement on difficulties in Token purchase after uproar from customers who complained of receiving an error message from the service provider since 6Am.
Notably, Customers who tried to purchase prepaid tokens through the bank and USSD code faced the same challenge.
The Error message read,”Transaction failed, we cannot complete payment to KPLC PREPAID. The Organization’s system receiving the payment experienced some technical challenges, try again later.”
The utility company admitted that indeed there was a problem with the system but it was working to resolve the matter as soon as possible while apologising for the inconvenience.
KPLC stated,”The system has slowed down, our team is working to normalize the situation. We shall avail the token when it comes through.”
