Not a single cent will be used to bribe nobody- President Ruto Rubbishes AhmedNasir’s Advice.
The head of state has responded to Lawyer AhmedNasir after he gave him an alternative, instead of disobeying court orders.
However, President Ruto has stood his ground saying he will not fuel corruption nor will corrupt practices be done under his watch.
President Ruto stated,”Ahmednasir SC ,you warned me of sabotage by corrupt judicial officers. I told you there are many good officers in the judiciary and that we will root out the corrupt,”
“We shall. Muite SC, the impunity of bribing judges so as not to derail, delay, or sabotage Kenya’s imminent transformation will never happen under my watch. Not a single cent will be used to bribe nobody. Mambo ya wafisadi wote ni yale nilisema,” he added.
His reponse comes a day after the lawyer adviced him to follow former president Uhuru Kenyatta’s path, and bribe his way through the Judiciary.
AhmedNasir stated,” Instead of disobeying court orders issued by corrupt/bribe taking judges follow the manual by H.E UHURU Administration…BRIBE THE JUDGES YOURSELF,”
”It was an open secret known throughout the justice sector that the Office of the President not only used to bribe judges in important matters the government had interest in during the Uhuru era but had specific judges of the High Court, Court of Appeal and the Supreme Court on a MONTHLY RETAINER,”he added.

Ruto’s response has received reactions from Netizens;
Keriga expressed,”Yes, let’s root out those corrupt judicial officers, but let’s not forget to water the good ones too! We wouldn’t want them to wilt away in the scorching sun of corruption. And as for the bribery, it’s a slippery slope, my friend. One minute you’re bribing judges, the next you’re bribing your way to the front of the line at the local matatu stand. Let’s not forget the true meaning of justice: a shield and defender.”
Alchemist Opined,”As much as the judiciary is corrupt, we can’t evade the philosophical speculation of the executive generalizing the situation merely because some judgements are not favouring your way. First seek the “general will” the 50% plus 1 so as to be on the right side of the law.”
