Detailed Performance of Schools who had Withheld KCSE Results: On Friday, Kenya National Examinations Council (KNEC) finally released the results of some KCSE candidates whose marks had been withheld over suspected examination malpractice.
During the release of the 2023 KCSE results, the Ministry of Education through KNEC revealed that they had flagged the results of 4,113 candidates across the country on claims of breaching exam regulations.
Kisii’s Cardinal Otunga Boys Mosocho expressed their joy after having 100 per cent university transition. They received the results on Friday morning of all its 432 students who sat the 2023 KCSE exams.
Out of 432, the last candidate in the school got a B-, with the Principal revealing that the students had 6 As, 60 A- 137 B+ and 26 B-.
The principal stated,” I wish to inform the general public that we finally have 100% of the results and their results are very impressive because all of them are transiting to the university.”
Nyakongo Secondary School was also elated after KNEC released withheld results of the entire 2023 KCSE cohort of 263 students, striking claims that the school had cases of malpractice. The school also had 100 per cent University transition.
Migori County, Mabera Secondary School also received their withheld results from the Kenya national examinations council.
Notably, All 292 candidates from Samoei Boys’ Secondary School in Nandi Hills qualified for university admission. Samoei boys had mean score of 9.6
St. Mary Taachasis Girls in Tinderet constituency which had their results withheld, posted a mean score of 7.9 in this year’s KCSE results.
