Thugs Dressed as Police Beat Up Woman, Force Her to Borrow Loans From Mobile Apps: A woman residing at Mirera in Naivasha was on February 14, attacked by five thugs dressed up as policemen who forced her to take loans from various mobile apps.
Narrating the incident on Sunday, February 18, she revealed that she arrived home at 9:00 pm and then went to check on her daughter who was sleeping. She then proceeded to take her dinner.
She narrated, “I started eating when my caretaker called and told me to open the door, he was not feeling well, unbeknownst to me they had tied him and instructed him to call me,”
“On opening, I was pushed by one of them and ordered to lie down, another one went to bring my daughter from the bedroom,” she added.
This was the beginning of a 6-hour scary incident which ended at 2:00 am when the thugs left
Her car and electronics among them two TVs (a 55-inch smart TV and 32 inch digital TV), four mobile phones, a WiFi router and a smartwatch totaling to a sum of approximately Ksh590,000, were stolen.
The incident was reported to a police station in Naivasha six days ago, but the thieves are yet to be arrested.
