‘We Shall Finish The Journey Together’- Bishop Wanjiru Now Changes Tune.
‘We Shall Finish The Journey Together’: Bishop Margaret Wanjiru of the Jesus is Alive Ministries has seemingly retracted her sentiments directed towards President William Ruto and his deputy Rigathi Gachagua following a demolition of her church premises by police officers this week.
Taking to her official social media account on Friday evening, in a seemingly ‘apologetic gesture’, the Bishop shared a warm message about her longstanding friendship with the country’s top two in command, expressing her willingness to continue working with them.
She went ahead to also share a photo with the Head of State taken during the run-up to the 2022 General Election, contrary to her words, where she had issued a warning to the UDA chiefs.
Bishop Wanjiru wrote,“I have much respect and love for His Excellency Dr William Ruto, our Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua and their families. We started this journey towards building a better and more prosperous Nation together and we shall finish well, together.”
This comes after she regretfully expressed her anguish and frustration towards the Kenya Kwanza leadership that.
She stated,” I was one of the founding members of UDA. I campaigned for a whole year when others came to just steal what I had worked for, yet I let go,”
“I have loved you, my president. I have loved you, my deputy president. I have loved your family. When you call, I obey. But behold, from this day… tables are turning,” she added.
