Father Narrates Sorrow of Losing 2 Daughters to Separate Accidents in 1 Year: Father of the late Oslo Mwendwa who passed away in a road crash involving a Kenyatta University bus has revealed his family’s pain of losing a second daughter in a span of just one year.
Speaking during the memorial service at Kenyatta University, the father expressed that the family had lost another daughter in a road crash along Kiambu Road. He revealed that this accident happened exactly one year and one month ago.
He stated,” 1 year ago and 1 month, I stood before a congregation like this one along Kiambu Road to mourn the passing of my daughter Michelle through a tragic road accident on Kiambu Road.”
“On that day, All lost hope besides me as the only beacon of hope. Today, the brother stands beside me as the family pays tribute to Oslo,” he added.
The father has eulogized the late daughter as a warm spirit who lit up the lives of those who interacted with her.
“Our hearts are full of pain and grief as we try to come to terms with your sudden death. It is really hard to accept that your life journey on earth has ended. To think we will never talk to you again, that we will not have our day-to-day conversations, is too much. What are we to do now? We are completely shattered. You have left way too soon,”
“Oslo’s spirit radiated warmth and compassion touching the lives of all fortunate enough to cross her path. Her gentle words and comforting words were a beacon of hope in times of darkness,” the father added.
