Moi University Students Heading to Mombasa involved in a Road Accident: Several students from Moi University have been reported injured in the road accident at Kimende along the Naivasha-Nairobi Highway.
Reports have confirmed that the students were heading to Mombasa before the accident occurred. The university bus crashed on the side of the road and overturned resulting in injuries.
Area residents rushed to help the students and drivers before police and other emergency personnel arrived at the scene.
At the time of publishing this article, no fatalities had been reported.
This comes a week after 11 students from Kenyatta university lost their lives, in a road accident involving their school bus.
Kenyans have called upon the ministry of Transport and Roads to look into the matter.
