Matatu Full of Passengers Overturns Along Meru-Nairobi Highway: A PSV full of passengers is reported to have overturned on Meru-Nairobi Highway on Monday, April 8.
Reportedly, the matatu overturned near Igoju Teachers Training College, in Imenti within Meru County.
Several people have been injured, fortunately,No fatalities were reported.The vehicle belonging to the Menya Sacco was carrying passengers to Meru from Mombasa.
Photos circulating online depicted residents in Imenti quickly rushing to the scene to help the injured passengers.
The injured passengers were quickly rushed to the nearby hospital where they are currently receiving treatment.
This happened a day after another bus was involved in an accident at Nithi Bridge in Tharaka Nithi, claiming the lives of 4 passengers.
