A Police Constable Has Just Been Killed in Ruiru Accident

A Police Constable Has Just Been Killed in Ruiru Accident: An officer of the Law was Monday night killed in a hit and Run along the Kiambu-Ruiru road, in Kiambu.

The constable of police who was in the company of his colleague when crossing the road, was knocked down by a speeding car.

Police Confirmed that The car did not stop after the 10 pm incident. Witnesses revealed that the deceased suffered head injuries and a fractured left leg. He was pronounced dead on arrival at the Plainsview Hospital.

Another tragic Accident Happened on the same night where a passenger was killed while 15 others were injured in an accident involving a bus and truck along the Nairobi-Mombasa highway in the Salama area.

The accident happened in the Kauntandini area where the driver of the bus tried to overtake another car and later swerved back to his lane causing a collision with a truck that had stalled on the road.

Unfortunately, a male passenger died on the spot while 15 passengers suffered serious injuries.
