Public Service Commission Appoints New CEO: The Public Service Commission (PSC) on Wednesday announced the appointment of Paul Famba as its new Chief Executive Officer
Famba is expected to officially take over the new role on August 1, this year and serve for five years.
PSC Chairperson Anthony Muchiri highlighted that the commission made the appointment in the exercise of its powers under Section 15(2) of the Public Service Commission Act.
Education Background
Famba holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree from the University of Nairobi and a Master of Arts degree in Peace and Conflict Management from Kenyatta University.
He has served as a senior officer in various capacities including as Assistant County Commissioner, State Protocol Officer, Deputy County Commissioner and Director of Administration.
Notably, he has received various awards In recognition of his impeccable service to the nation including the award of the Moran of the Order of the Burning Spear (MBS) and Order of the Grand Warrior of Kenya (OGW)
“The incoming CEO brings to the Commission a wealth of experience as a career administrator, having served in senior positions in the Government,” the PSC Chairperson noted.
