Several Passengers confirmed Dead, others in critical Condition as Bus Rolls Over on Highway:
On Friday morning, four individuals were confirmed dead in a bus accident at the Gof Chopa area along the Marsabit-Moyale Highway.

According to Eyewitnesses, the bus was travelling from Nairobi to Moyale when it lost control and rolled along the highway.

A rescue operation is already underway To help all those trapped inside the wreckage.

Confirming the incident, acting Marsabit County Commissioner David Saruni stated that the 5.30 am incident left other passengers in critical condition.

In the widely circulated photos of the tragedy, the bus could be spotted leaning on one of its sides.

The incident comes barely a week after 10 people succumbed in a road accident after a trailer collided with an oncoming matatu in Mai Mahiu town, Naivasha.
