Kithure Kindiki Re-Emerges, Breaks Long Silence Since Re- Appointment: After 14 days of silence, Interior Cabinet Secretary nominee Kithure Kindiki has finally made a public appearance.
During President William Ruto’s tour of Tharaka Nithi County on Thursday, Kindiki was invited to address the crowd by the Head of State where he pledged to support the President in his agenda while thanking him for his renomination to the Cabinet.
“I want to promise you that, we as people who have been selected as CSs and PSs, shall support you and that we shall work with elected leaders, your party and all other leaders to ensure that your agenda is actualised,”
“Thank you for uniting our country. This is now time for us to work. God bless you and we are behind you,” he added.
Kindiki further expressed how Honoured he was to accompany President William Ruto in his extensive tour of Tharaka Nithi County.
He stated,”In fulfilment of his campaign promises and implementation of the Government’s economic transformation agenda, the President commissioned the Kibung’a Kakimiki Water Project in Marimanti that will serve more than 30,000 residents,”
The President also launched the Marimanti Kenya Medical Training College and the Ksh500 Million last mile electricity connectivity project.
To bring Government services closer to the people, President Ruto commissioned the County Commissioner’s Office and Huduma Center in Kathwana.
Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua and Tharaka Nithi County leadership in attendance.
