Ex-GSU officer Soi Has Been Arrested For Allegedly Shooting His Wife: A former senior General Service Unit (GSU) police officer was Tuesday arrested after he allegedly shot and seriously injured his wife at their home in the Ketete area, Narok County.
Stephen Kiptanui Soi is also a former senior official at the National Olympic Committee and a licensed gun holder.
He is said to have shot and wounded his wife who is an advocate of the High Court at their home on Tuesday, August 27.
The lawyer was injured in the left thigh and admitted at a local private hospital in stable condition, police said.
At the scene, the police recovered one spare magazine and a magazine loaded with 12 rounds of ammunition.
Notably, Police recovered the weapon in his bedroom with a magazine that had six bullets and A spent cartridge was also recovered.
