Farouk Kibet Breaks Silence on Gachagua Ahead of Looming Impeachment
Farouk Kibet Breaks Silence, throwing a jab at politicians who seemingly appear to love their community too much at the expense of national unity.
Farouk was Speaking during an event at Chepsaita Primary School in Uasin Gishu County on Friday, Where he called upon leaders to put their differences aside and work together for greater good of the nation and its development.
He went ahead to shame politicians who have publicly shown their fondness of resorting to their tribal cocoons whenever they experience hiccups, claiming that they are dividing the nation.
“All of us should live in harmony like Kenyans. There are some of us who are encouraging ethnic divisions. I kindly plead that we as Kenyans should prioritise living in peace. Polarising the nation along ethnic lines is steering the country toward the wrong direction,” Kibet stated during the function.
His sentiments come at a time when Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua is facing a looming impeachment motion as his political adversaries continue accusing him of propagating ethnic politics.
In recent weeks, Gachagua has held rallies in Mt Kenya where his allies have thrown jabs at President Ruto directly telling him to rein in on his allies planning to impeach his deputy.
