Death Reported, Several In Critical Condition as Matatu Rolls on Major Highway

Death Reported, Several In Critical Condition: A tragic accident has been witnessed along the Sagana-Karatina highway where one woman unfortunately died and several others badly injured.

The incident occurred when a 14-seater matatu, ferrying passengers towards Karatina, lost control and rolled near Kiangwaci.

According to Witnesses, the woman died on the spot, while the injured have been rushed to nearby hospitals for urgent medical attention.

The incident comes just days after another fatal incident happened along the same highway, where A mother and her nine-year-old son were killed.

The accident happened when a speeding milk pickup truck, en route to Karatina from Sagana, rammed into them as they waited for a school bus.

The driver however, turned himself in at Kiangwaci Police Station, according to local police officials.
