Key Suspect Linked To The Brutal Murder of Wells Fargo Human Resource Manager Willis Ayieko Arrested

Key suspect linked to the gruesome murder of the late Willis Onyango Ayieko, Human Resource Manager at Wells Fargo, was on Monday arrested in Nairobi.

The suspect was found at his hideout in Nairobi’s Dandora Phase IV Monday night, where he had rented a house.

The suspect (being held at Muthaiga Police Station) was placed at the scene of crime through forensic analysis, in the forensic-led investigation being conducted by a joint team of DCI’s Homicide, CRIB and Operations detectives

“The suspect, held at Muthaiga Police Station, was placed at the crime scene through forensic analysis,”DCI Stated.

Ayieko, who went missing on Friday, October 21, was found dead in Gem, Siaya County, a week later

His body was discovered near a stream, handcuffed, days after he was last seen attending a funeral in the area.

“Given the nature of the incident and how Ayieko’s body was found, we are treating this as a possible homicide. We will not rest until we get to the bottom of this,” said Siaya Sub-County Police Commander Charles Wafula.
