President Ruto Appoints Former Governor Evans Kidero To State Job
President William Ruto appoints former Nairobi County Governor Evans Kidero to be the chairperson of the board of directors of Kenya National Trading Corporation for a period of 3 years, effective immediately.
The notice outlined that Kidero will replace Hussein Tene Debasso whose appointment is thereby revoked. Kidero will serve in the Corporation for a period of 3 years
KNTC is a state corporation under the Ministry of Investments, Trade, and Investments.
It was established to serve as a procurement agent for the government at the same time supporting public sector institutions with sourcing and supply chain management services.
In addition to procurement, the corporation offers services such as warehousing, transport, logistics, and wholesale distribution, ensuring that government and private sector needs are efficiently met.
Kenya National trade corporation plays a key role in enhancing national trade and supply chain operations across Kenya.
