Drama As Governor Lectures Residents for Heckling Ruto in Gachagua’s Presence
Drama was Witnessed After Embu Governor Cecily Mbarire lectured residents of her county for heckling President William Ruto during a church service in Embu.
The now viral incident happened at the Anglican Church of Kenya (ACK) Mukangu in Embu while President Ruto was delivering his speech when the audience began chanting ‘Ruto Must Go’ slogans.
In attendance were former President Uhuru Kenyatta and Former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua, who were both warmly received by the congregants.
The visibly annoyed Governor criticised her constituents terming the heckling as rude and a lack of respect to the office of the presidency
The governor went on to urge residents to express their grievances through constructive dialogue rather than disruptive behaviour.
She further pointed out that they cannot be coerced to leave the government when they are in need of development.
