Gachagua Breaks Silence on Ruto-Uhuru Talks at Ichaweri Home
Former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua has spoken on the ormer President Uhuru Kenyatta’s meeting with President William Ruto terming their discussion as private talks.
Speaking During an interview with Inooro , the former DP said the meeting between the two was about private affairs.
The former deputy president however, highlighted that Mt Kenya people don’t take orders from anyone and are not bound to be controlled by private talks between leaders
Gachagua further opened that the meeting was inconsequential because, at the end of the day, the people from Mt Kenya will decide their own political direction.
Gachagua vowed to follow the people’s wishes in calling out the government and advocating for the concerns of the common people.
The former DP further refuted his association with the former Head of State highlighting that he can not speak on Uhuru’s behalf regarding his political stance in the upcoming general elections since he had not talked to him.
