Chief Justice Martha Koome Reshuffles 33 Judges[LIST]
In a notice issued by Senior High Court Principal Magistrate Eric Ogolla, several judges have been transferred.
The Chief Justice has transferred High Court Judge Nixon Sifuna from the Commercial Division to the Civil Division in Nairobi. Koome also transferred Judge Anthony Mrima from Kitale Court to the Civil Division in Nairobi.
In her communique, the CJ transferred Lady Justice Roselyne Aburi from her Kisumu station to the Judicial Review Division which is located in Nairobi.
Justice Edward Muriithi who was transferred from Meru court to a court in Kerugoya, Kirinyaga County.
Lady Justice Roselyne Korir who previously worked at Bomet Law Court was transferred to Chuka, Meru County. Justice Stella Mutuku was transferred from Machakos to the Civil Division Court in Nairobi.
Meanwhile, Lady Justice Esther Maina was transferred from the Anti-Corruption and Crimes Division Court in Nairobi to Machakos station.
Similarly, Justices Ole Francis Odhiambo and Margaret Mungai were transferred from their Machakos station to Marsabit and the Criminal Division in Nairobi respectively.
Justices Richard Mwongo of Kerungoya and his Murang’a Counterpart James Wakianga were transferred to the Embu and the Nairobi Criminal Division in Makadara respectively.
Lady Justices Tabitha Oyua and Rhoda Rutto were transferred from the Nairobi Civil and Commercial divisions respectively to their Murang’a and Machakos stations.
Justices Francis Andayi and his Mombasa Counterpart Jukius Kipkosgei were transferred to Kwale and Bomet stations while Justice Joe Omido was transferred from Civil Division in Nairobi to Kisumu.
