Trans Nzoia Governor George Natembeya has sworn not to go down without a fight if a impeachment motion is filed against him
According to the Trans Nzoia Governor, there was a plan being hatched by his police rivalries, to forcefully remove him from office.
Natembeya highlighted that the removal has been magnified, followed his public criticised reprimand of the government over the recent spate of abductions.
Natembeya’s comments came just days after the National Assembly Majority Leader Kimani Ichung’wah, lashed out on him during the burial of Moses Wetangula’s mother on Friday, January 3.
Ichung’wah went on to blame the governor for dividing the Western region through incitive politics. There were also suggestions that Natembeya was a sympathiser of former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua.
Natembeya however, reiterated on Tuesday that the former DP, who was impeached in October 2024, was not his enemy.
