The National Assembly on Thursday approved the nominations of Mutahi Kagwe, William Kabogo, and Lee Kinyanjui to serve as cabinet secretaries for Agriculture, Information, Communication and the Digital Economy, and Trade respectively.
In a special sitting on Thursday, the members of Parliament outlined that the three nominees demonstrated knowledge of the respective sectors during the vetting period.
Notably, The National Assembly Committee on Defence Intelligence and Foreign Relations on Thursday recommended to the House approval of three diplomatic nominees picked by President William Ruto last December
They include; Ababu Namwamba as the Permanent Representative of Kenya to the United Nations Environmental Programme (UNEP), Andrew Karanja as Kenya’s Ambassador to Brazil, and Noor Gabow as Consul-General to Port-au-Prince, Haiti.
