In a notice released on Friday, March 7, Treasury CS John Mbadi revoked the appointment of Stephen Ogenga as a member of the Kenya Accountants and Secretaries Examination Board (KASNEB). Ogenga had served on the board for over three years.
Mbadi reappointed Mercy Kiana to be a member of the Board of Directors of the Insurance Regulatory Authority. Kiana has been appointed to serve in the position for the next three years, effective March 7.
Energy and Petroleum CS Opiyo Wandayi appointed Martha Wanjiru Miano to be a member of the Board of Directors of the Kenya Pipeline Company Limited.
“In exercise of the powers conferred by Section 6(1)(e) of the State Corporations Act, as read together with Section 51(1) of the Interpretation and General Provisions Act, the Cabinet Secretary for Energy and Petroleum appoints Martha Wanjiru Miano to be a member of the Board of Directors of the Kenya Pipeline Company Limited, for three years,” the notice read in part.
Miano was previously appointed to the Micro and Small Enterprise Authority board on January 31, 2025.
Co-operatives and Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) Development CS Wycliffe Oparanya appointed John Wambugu Kihonge to be a member of the Board of Directors of the Micro and Small Enterprise Authority.
Lands CS Alice Wahome appointed Ruth Okal to be a member of the Land Acquisition Tribunal.
Cabinet Secretary for Roads and Transport, Davis Chirchir, appointed Wilson Mwai to be a member of the Board of Directors of the Kenya Ports Authority for three years.
