Agano presidential candidate, David Mwaure has stated that Opinion polls does not matter in regards to the 9th August 2022 general elections. According, to the recent opinions polls, David Mwaure was below the 5% marks as the Kenya kwanza and Azimio la Umoja leaders closely ranked.
David Mwaure is among the four other presidential candidates namely; Raila Amolo Odinga of Azimio la Umoja coalition, William Samoei Ruto of Kenya kwanza coalition and Goerge Wajackoyah of Roots Party.
There has been online polls that ranked the four presidential candidates. In all those polls, the Agano party leader seems to be the least ranked candidate. This pollsters have raised concerns some saying the numbers have been altered by those in charge.
According to him,David Mwaure, his win does not depend on any opinion poll. He said,” I’m concerned when two days ago when the three pollstars ran their findings and I wondered if it was choreographed. I believe i have surpassed what they have.”
The Agano presidential candidate further stated, he is aware that there are some places he has not been to campaign or rally but he thanks social media because his agenda is known countrywide.
He went ahead to say that he has not trust over the figure that the pollsters are indicating. In his statement,” I do not believe in the figures they show.”
He further showed the kind of hope he has in regards to the elections, that come 9th august , he is assured of a win. He said regardless of the opinion polls, he has so many people who believe in him and will vote for him come 9th August for a change in Kenya.
He stated,” I’m very encouraged by a lot of things and I’m meeting many people who are saying that they will vote for me and they are with me.”
