Kenya Kwanza presidential candidate, William Ruto has garnered himself a win from Mugumo primary school, Gichugu constituency,Kirinyaga county.
It is a shocking moment for Kenyans, being that Kirinyaga is Martha Karua’s home and support should start from one’s home.
Martha Karua who is a deputy presidential candidate has received a lot of criticism since her people voted against her.
According to the statistics by the independent electoral and boundaries commission, Martha Karua from Azimio la Umoja one Kenya, only got one third of the votes as William Ruto or rather Kenya Kwanza coalition got the majority of the votes.
Election results as indicated in the form 34A as illustrated by Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) clearly showed a win for the Deputy president William Ruto.
Mugumo Primary School in Gichugu Constituency, Kirinyaga county where Martha is registered as a voter, voted DP Ruto with 911 votes as his opponent, Azimio la Umoja’s Raila odinga garnered himself only 311 votes.
As tallying continues, controversies are being raised regarding the presidential elections.
Presidential elections really focused on Azimio la Umoja One Kenya headed by Raila Amollo Odinga and United Democratic Alliance under Kenya Kwanza coalition also headed by William Samoei Ruto are leading at this point.
With different parts showing the kind of support they have for the two candidates; Raila and Ruto.
Also reports from the central parts have brought controversies being that both deputies from both coalitions, Rigathi Gachagua and Martha Karua are from central Kenya.
However, not all parts have counted in their votes, so their is no absolute answer that the central people have supported one side more than the other.
Leaders from the areas have however promised residents that whoever wins will be supported by them regardless and no fights will be witnessed from the areas respectfully. Peace is the word being preached
