UDA dismisses claims of paying twitter influencers to push their agenda.
This comes after a signed document or letter was circulating in social media platforms to expose the United Democratic Alliance’s campaign strategy.
Apparently the document was written by the Secretary General, Veronica Nduati Maina ,to the United Democratic Alliance’s finance director, Daniel Rotich on 24th August 2022.
The letter was directing the finance director to approve the payment for online services the party received from the 9th of August to the 22nd August 2022.
The letter went ahead to state the names of twitter influencers who required the payments and signed by the head of Communications, Hussein Mohammed.
The total amount that was purported to be given to the influencers is a total of $114,653 which equates to a total of 13.7 million shillings.
However, Hussein Mohammed, the head of communications in the William Samoei Ruto campaigns ,UDA dismisses claims of paying twitter influencers to push their agenda.
In his twitter account, he stated that the letter was forged. He further said that the claims were from desparate people who want to defame the party .
Hussein wrote,” Desperation; by the masters of forgery and lies.”
This comes after the Azimio la Umoja filed a petition against the Independent electoral and boundaries commission on claims of manipulating the presidential results.
Azimio la Umoja leader declared the election results null and void. He however urged his supporters to remain calm and vigilant as he pursues justice in a court of law

Controversies have been raised on how the rigging claims transpired, a case that’s still awaiting hearing in the supreme court of law.
Several claims have rose against the United Democratic Alliance, today, Narok senator , Ledama Olekina claimed that Presiding officers were paid to manipulate the form 34As.
The presiding officers manipulated the results before uploading them to the independent electoral and boundaries commission portal.
