Deputy president, Rigathi Gachagua has vowed that we’ll not weaponise state Institutions like Uhuru.
Speaking during at a thanksgiving service in the rift valley, Gachagua commended the people of Rift valley for standing with president William Ruto.
“On behalf of the president, I say thank you for standing with all of us despite all those challenges that were put against us,” Gachagua said.
Dp Gachagua added that bygones are bygones and their government has forgiven everyone who hurled any sort of abuse to them, during the campaigns.
Gachagua stated,”Kenyans want to know the truth always and I am not the type who will change from telling the truth.”
The Deputy president further assured that their government ( Ruto and Gachagua) will not weaponize or use state institutions like the police, KRA, EACC, DCI, county commissioners to target innocent people.
This he said in reference to what was done to president William Ruto during retired President Uhuru’s government.
Gachagua added that he had held meeting with county stakeholders and assured them that they will not in any way, be involved in Kenya kwanza politics.
Gachagua stated,”We will not use them to disrespect elected leaders or arrest innocent people on Fridays just for purposes of frustrating them.”
DP Gachagua further lauded Farouk Kibet for his efforts towards Kenya kwanza’s win.
DP Gachagua said,”Farouk ensured that we had smooth campaigns leading to victory in the elections.”
The DP went ahead to thank God for blessing he had showered on him and his principal, William Ruto.
“What human beings had planned and done to Ruto and his team, as human beings we would not have managed and we thank God for his grace,” Gachagua stated.
Deputy president was accompanied by ; Kipchumba Murkomen, Ndindi Nyoro, Ichungwah, Cherargei, Mike Sonko among other leaders.
