President appoints Maiyo, Talam and others to executive jobs.

President appoints Maiyo, Talam and others to executive jobs; he appointed Reuben Maiyo as Private Secretary to the President, and George Ng’ong’a Macgoye as Chief of Staff to the Deputy President Gachagua.

Paul Muraya Mwangi was appointed as Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua’s Private Secretary while Njeri Rugene will serve as the Head of Communication Services in the DP’s office.

The statement read,” As set out in Executive Order No. 1 of 2022, on the Organization of Government of Kenya, the executive office of the President comprises the Office of the President, the Office of the Deputy President, and the Office of the Prime Cabinet Secretary.”

“In that regard, it is hereby noted that President William Ruto has today caused additional appointments  within the ranks of the Executive Office of the President as follows,”the statement added.

This comes after Hussein Mohamed was also appointed as the State House Spokesperson while David Mugonyi, was unveiled as the  Head of the Presidential Communication Service (PCS).
