Be strong because I am not yet tired;Azimio la umoja leader, Raila Odinga has urges his supporters to never give up.
He further slammed the door on Azimio defectors saying his coalition ought to have portrayed unity after the elections.
Speaking at the burial of the late Peter, Raila termed the move as a political betrayal.
He also stated that the national government is constitutionally required to allocate resources to the county governments, not because of favourism.
He said,”The government of Kenya is divided into two; the national and county governments and the latter gets direct allocation from the national government, not because they love you but because they have to give it to you.”
Raila also promised that he is yet to issue his next political move , adding that he will reveal what really happened in 2022 presidential elections.
He said,” I want to inform you that my time for talking has not yet come but once it does, I will not look back. If our people join hands, we will be united and we cannot be intimidated to join the government.”
On the other hand, During Oduor’s burial, Raila Odinga said he is focused on reforming the Kenyan politics, when time comes, he will peacefully exit the stage.
He stated,When my time to retire from politics comes, I will peacefully exit the stage. There shouldn’t be any discussion about that. Our focus now should be reforming the politics of this country so that democracy may thrive.”
“Do not give up. Be strong because I am not yet tired. Should I give up or continue? I will give directions on the path we shall take when the time is right.”
“Going forward, we want to bring change to our people so that Kenyans can live comfortable lives. That is what service to the nation is all about,” Raila expressed.
