Uproar on the transport CS Murkomen over the SGR contract.
Uproar on the transport CS Murkomen and a huge debate has sparked after the former senator publicly released the details of the SGR contract.
Murkomen on his socials wrote,” As promised I have released the SGR agreements to the people of Kenya. I have given a copy to the Majority Leaders @KIMANIICHUNGWAH and @Aaroncheruiyot for them to table in the respective Houses of Parliament. I have also shared a copy with the media.”
However, reactions have been witnessed over the last few hours after the expose.
Wesley tweeted,”Your mission seems like confusing the people of the Republic of Kenya with unearthing scandals that you were part of. SGR was built when UDA was part of the government and Raila Odinga complained of the over expenditures, now you want to fool Kenyans that you are delivering?”
Joecool commented,”MURKOMEN holds a Masters Degree in Law. How he disclosed and breached the SGR CONTRACT without REALISING this as a lawyer is something that will take me EONS to understand.”
One tweep contradicted,”He actually disclosed it because he is a lawyer. Have you ever heard public interest.Do you know a court had found the process leading up to execution of the contract illegal?”
Kithinji tweeted,”Just in case akili yako ndogo ianze kuchanganywa na Kipchumba Murkomen and deputy president Rigathi Gachagua on the SGR contract. Before you get confused, remember to watch this. Contract was signed in 2014 when Uhuru Kenyatta and William Ruto were buddies. Not Uhuru and Raila.”
Mtetezi stated,”Somethings are better Left unturned , President William Ruto then the DP confidently said SGR was the best decision Jubilee government ever made , Now the Deputy Nabii Kipchumba Murkomen can’t explain how a 2018 handshake affected a 2014 SGR contract after making it public.”
Abuga makori stated,”We also forgot to remind Kipchumba Murkomen that when SGR contract was being signed, his compatriot Henry Rotich was the Treasury CS on of William Ruto being DP, Duale Majority Leader (NA), Kimani Ichungwah Chairman Budget and Murkomen ML Senate. They are beneficiaries!”
