Uproar on the socials as Kenyans call out on nepotism in government and opposition.
An uproar on the socials has been witnessed; This comes after nomination of Winnie Odinga, Who is Raila Odinga’s daughter to the EALA race.
Jubilee members were questioning on why a leader would front his own daughter to the race.
However, counterattacks have been witnessed with the opposition asking why they are causing a fuss about Winnie’s nomination, while Charlene Ruto is going around the country doing government roles.
Nahashon Kimemia commented,”We didn’t vote out 3 dynasties just to help the Rutos start another one. Nepotism imepitwa na wakati. We need clarity on Charlene Ruto’s newfound role within the Hustler govt if it exists. Why is she meeting ministers of foreign governments and on whose behalf is she doing that?”
Mogoi Mark wrote,”When Raila Odinga and Kalonzo Musyoka want to nominate their children to EALA, you’re here condemning them. But when William Ruto’s clueless kid Charlene Ruto is loitering around the world talking of Climate Change, you’re silent. You know she is using taxpayers money.”
Terry posed,”Why is everyone against Winnie Odinga’s nomination to EALA while Charlene Ruto is loitering around the world with tax payers money and you’re silent?”
Mutichilo Mike wrote,”The government should tell us ,who is bankrolling Charlene Ruto’s global trotting trips and whom does she represent?.
There is a difference between government business and private family business, President Uhuru knew this , President Ruto is digging his own political grave 2027!”
Riwah commented,”Winnie Odinga and Charlene Ruto should keep off politics. They should follow Uhuru Kenyatta’s kids.”
Another netizen added,”Charlene Ruto met Morocco’s Youth Minister under the umbrella of the Pan African Congress of Kenya. That’s ok. She can meet anyone she wants including Pope Francis, Beyonce & Messi. The question is who funds this Pan African Congress. Dear Foreign Affairs CS Alfred Mutua, tell us.”
